We are delighted to announce that we have once again won an award at the prestigous G08 ceremony. This time we took the Customer Care Award which is a highly contested category. We believe the recognition is down to our forward thinking approach and commitment to providing our customers with a full and varied support package. Always looking ahead and striving to do better we go beyond the standard requirements by never limiting our customer care to just the basics. In fact we offer an all encompassing service to support our customers in every way possible. |
Industry Rocking
The News is full of financial worries:
Northern Rock, the American subprime housing crisis, inflationary pressures, the credit crunch, falling worldwide share prices, huge bank losses, imminent recession worries, slump in the housing market, increased repossessions record high oil prices, etc.
Our industry has started the year seeing the largest number of companies going into receivership, administration or liquidation than any other year to date. Companies big and small, recent incorporations and long established alike have facing big difficulties….. and more are predicted to be following them over the months to come.
So, not a good start to the year for our industry. As we are all dependant on the sales of windows, doors, conservatories and building plastics, where does that leave the installer and the fabricator?
Well let’s put one thing straight first of all: We are dedicated to improving what we do and how we do it, so that your customers spend more money with you and we both continue to grow. This year will have its challenges and we will see a smaller but stronger industry in the end.
So, should you be worried?
Well none of us can see the future and Listers is certainly not invincible! However, we can assure you that we have built up a sturdy financial position over many years and that this is a strength that most of our competitors do not have. A constant face at the G awards
You know we were winners of the fabricator of the year award in 2005. Then in 2006 we were winners of the training and development category. In 2007 we were proud finalists in two categories, one of which for Energy Efficiency and last year we were winners of the Customer Care award. We have dedicated a considerable amount of time to these two areas in particluar and the hard work has truly paid off.
