We're not just any old window and conservatory manufacturer.

Recognised as the UK's number one Fabricator of the Year 2005 by the Glass and Glazing Federation and a winner again in 2006. Finalists in 2007 for Customer Care and Energy Efficiency

Established in 1976, and here to stay!
Listers have been around a long time and they have succeeded where many have failed.
This is because of their dedication to providing quality in products and service, and also because they are never distracted by trying to install their own products. They are one of the few companies who when they say trade only mean trade only. So their customers receive the undivided attention of everyone in the company.
The following article was printed mid 2005 in the business section of the local newspaper and gives a good flavour of what Listers are about:
Something to shout about!
Lister Trade Frames of Hanley has a great deal to shout about. They are generally recognised as the leading window and door manufacturer for the trade in the area.
With new production facilities, a new head office, two new window and doors systems, new marketing for their customers, new conservatory systems, the biggest building plastics sales counter in the area and five months of record sales results, you can see why.
But Mark Warren, Listers Managing Director, says that “the icing on the cake was being recognised as the UKs number one Fabricator of the Year 2005, by the industries leading body, the GGF (Glass and Glazing Federation).”

(Bradley Walsh presents the award to Listers)
“This award is the most prestigious award in our industry - the Oscar of the window world, which companies from across the UK enter,” said Mark.
The award was judged on a series of criteria - how the business is run, how it has grown, our service and quality of workmanship, achievements to date and plans for the future.
“Okay, so we’re only a local company, but the effort we have put into our business has gained us recognition on a national level. Our focus is on total customer service. That includes the delivery of quality products, friendly service and value for money. It sounds simple but if you are really serious about it I can assure you that success takes a lot effort and the full involvement of everyone in the company. Fortunately, we have an excellent workforce who helped us to achieve our goal.”
While many window companies are reporting a downturn in business, with some even closing down their operations in our own locality, Listers are bucking the trend. May saw them reporting a 30% sales increase and July’s sales figures are showing another record month. So what is the secret to their success, besides “hard work”?
“It’s really a combination of a lot of things” says Mark, “but, just one basic difference is that, unlike other trade window suppliers, we don’t compete with our customers by installing our own products, and we don’t own any companies who do.” Why is that so important? “It means that we really value our trade customers as they are our bread and butter. We want them to grow with us, so we sell them the best product at the best price. Ultimately, their success is our success!”
Recognised as the UKs Fabricator of the Year 2005, Listers certainly do have something to shout about!
